Fire Training Tower Champions

Life Support is more grateful than ever for your overwhelming generosity during the 2023 Dinner Auction. Our commitment has always been to the people of our communities, travelers on I-90, and recreational users in the surrounding region. Your safety and well-being remain our top priority.

A special heartfelt thanks go to (left to right) Wes and Bernie Ward, Roger and Cindy Jobs, and Dave and Diane Ewing for their incredible generosity in helping to build a Live Fire Division Chief Training Tower.

Hands-on training is essential for efficient and effective operation during fire emergencies. Kittitas County Fire District 7 (KCFD7) is dedicated to ensuring that firefighters are thoroughly prepared for any situation they may face. There is truly no substitute for live fire training, which provides conditions that closely mirror actual fire calls. It takes preparation, training, and implementation to ensure fire ground functions are prioritized and done safely.

The new training tower also features an inset corner balcony, offering a secure and realistic space for practicing rappelling and ladder techniques. The integrated rappelling anchor points will greatly benefit the Technical Rope Rescue team in their training evolutions.

Your generosity strengthens the preparedness of Kittitas County Fire District 7 and surrounding districts and departments. Together, we are ensuring a safer community for everyone. Thank you for your continued support.
